Ann Hardy Stultz

Ann Hardy Stultz, 96 of Greensboro, formerly of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday November 23, 2022.

Ann was the second of four children born to the late Jesse Cleveland Hardy and Lema Doss Hardy of Cameron, NC.  She married Bernie Lee Stultz in 1946 and they moved to Winston-Salem that same year after Bernie’s discharge from the Navy. Ann and Bernie enjoyed traveling and collecting antiques and made many dear friends over the years.  Ann enjoyed a successful retail career and spent over forty years with Davis Department Stores, retiring in 1989 as Manager of the Thruway Store.  She served on the Board of Directors and on many committees with Thruway Center.

She is survived by nieces Diane Myers (Terry) of Southern Pines, Karen Antis of Wilmington, Gaye Galyon (Jim) of Greensboro, Nephew William Pickard, Jr. (Dawn) of Sanford, and many great-nieces and nephews.  Ann is predeceased by her husband, parents, sisters Helen H, Cameron and Harriet H. Pickard, brother Wilson Hardy, niece Johnsye Bridgers, and great-nephew Mickey Thomas.

In accordance with Ann’s wishes, there will be no formal public service. Memorial contributions may be made to AuthoraCare Hospice, 2500 Summit Ave. Greensboro, NC 27405.
