Anthony Mark Alfaro

Anthony Mark Alfaro, 47 of Sanford passed away Monday June 20, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday at Rogers Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Craines Creek Cemetery.

Mark was born in Baltimore, MD a son of Alfreado Alfaro and the late Carolyn Sue Stone. In addition to his mother, Mark was also preceded in death by his wife, Robin Swicegood Alfaro. He graduated of Lee Co Sr High School in 1986 and following his graduation he joined the US Marine Corp where he served the next four years. Mark loved all of the Baltimore sports teams, writing poetry and reading mystery novels.

Mr. Alfaro is survived by two brothers, Scott Alfaro and Kevin Alfaro and wife Lacey all of Sanford; his father, Alfreado Alfaro of Hampstead, MD.

The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 am Saturday before the Funeral service.
