Archie Clifford "Sonny" Cameron, Jr

Archie Clifford “Sonny” Cameron Jr. 73 of  Broadway passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Thursday at Barbecue Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Mr. Cameron was born in Lee County a son of the late Archie Clifford Cameron Sr. and Ruth Roseman Cameron. He was preceded in death by a sister Carol Cameron. Sonny adored his granddaughter Charlie, she lit up his life, also he spent many hours tinkering with tractors and farm equipment. He loved the outdoors, and a favorite pastime was spent with his dog Drake.

Sonny is survived by his daughter Michele Cameron Faircloth of Broadway; granddaughter Charlie Faircloth; brother, Allen Cameron (Rebecca) of Broadway; sisters Kay Davis (Bernie) of Sanford and Celia Cameron of Broadway also many nieces and nephews.
