Barbara Causey

Barbara Thomas Causey of Sanford passed away Thursday February 9, 2017. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 12:00pm (noon) at Broadway Town Cemetery.

Mrs. Causey was born in Lee Co, daughter of the late James H. Thomas and Hattie Bogan Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Causey, brothers Brent, James and Shelby Thomas. She attended Broadway High School and Mars Hill College, a longtime member of First Baptist Church, and retired from First Citizens Bank.

Mrs. Causey is survived by her son Brent Causey and wife Patricia; Grandson Jeff and wife Betsey; Granddaughter Lauren Steinberg and husband David, also three Great Grandchildren, Bergen Causey, Sydney Steinberg, and Macy Steinberg..

The family will receive friends following the service.
