Betty Blakeley Paschal

Betty Blakeley Paschal, 89 of Sanford passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday September 6, 2024, at Carbonton Community Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Paschal was born in Lee Co, a daughter of the late William Ivery Blakeley and Lina Perry Blakeley. She was preceded in death by her husband Nathan E. “Ed” Paschal, and sons, John Warren Paschal and Nathan Paschal Jr; siblings, Paul Blakeley, Grover Blakeley, Zeddie Blakeley, Jerry Blakeley, Elsie B. Kelly and Doris B. Atkins.

Surviving are two sons, Randy Paschal (Beverly) and Michael Paschal (Linda); grandchildren, Amy Keister (Don), Brooke Barnes (Chris), Aaron Paschal (Lauren), Nicole Woody (William), Kerri Wright (Michael), and Nicholas Paschal (Khara); ten great grandchildren; one brother, Tony Blakeley (Frances).

The family will greet friends beginning at 1:00 pm Friday prior to the funeral.
