Calpurnia Revels

Calpurnia Bullard Revels, 85 of Sanford passed away Wednesday August 7, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday August 9, 2019 at Cool Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Revels was born in Robeson Co, daughter of the late Belton Bullard and Lucinda Locklear Bullard. Mrs. Revels was preceded in death by her husband, Percell Revels, brothers, Samuel Bullard, and Douglas Bullard and sisters Sylvia Bullard and Dorothy Bullard. She was a longtime member of Cool Springs Baptist Church and for many years worked in the Deli Dept at Byrd’s Foods.

Mrs. Revels is survived by her daughter, Janie R. Bristow and husband Steve of Sanford; her son, Mark Revels and his wife Ann of Holden Beach; three grandchildren, Jennifer Gregg and husband Eric of Raleigh, Kimberly Revels Strickland and husband Anthony of Tampa, FL, and Josh Revels of Avon, OH; one great grandchild, Jonathan Strickland; a sister, Roberta Brown and husband Jerry of Fayetteville; and one brother, Donald Bullard and wife Linda of Pembroke.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30pm prior to the Funeral.
