Carolyn Parrish

Carolyn Foushee Parrish, 91 of Sanford passed away Thursday February 18, 2016 at her home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday at St Luke United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Buffalo cemetery.

Mrs. Parrish was born in Lee Co daughter of late Sam B. Foushee Sr and Verna Watson Foushee. She was preceded in death by her husband William F. “Bill” Parrish Sr. Mrs. Parrish was a longtime member of St Luke United Methodist Church, formerly Steele Street United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her Bridge and Garden Clubs.

Mrs. Parrish is survived by her daughter, Ann P. Giknis (Francis) of Williamsburg, VA; sons, Bill Parrish (Donna) and Jimmy Parrish (Terri) all of Sanford; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

We were blessed to have had five special ladies that became part of our family for the past two years. These ladies allowed our mom to remain and enjoy the comforts of her home, Jenny Spainhour, Teresa Cardozo, Melinda Carlyle, Brenda Denkins, Kim Hart and Sylvia Bryant.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm Sunday in the Christian Life Center at St Luke United Methodist Church.
