Charles Michael Blankenship

Charles Michael “Mike” Blankenship, 71 of Durham passed away Saturday August 28, 2021.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Blankenship was born in Asheville, NC son of the late Jessie Albert Blankenship and Geraldine Elizabeth Nelson Blankenship. He was preceded in death by a brother Ronald Blankenship. Mike was a Veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam. He enjoyed the lake, his dogs and riding motorcycles.

Surviving is his daughter, Christina Blankenship (Matthew Lindell, as per Mike “Bob”) of Sanford; sister, Suzy Rodman of Asheville; nephew, Sean Rodman (Katt); nieces, Brandy Ferris (Jeff), and Misty Blankenship; great niece Cheyenne Logan; great nephew, Matthew Ferris; a special friend Pat Jones; his dog and best friend Jake.
