Corrine Scott Cockrell

Corrine Scott Cockrell, 90 of Sanford, passed away July 16, 2022. Funeral services will be private.

Mrs Cockrell was the daughter of James Ernest Scott and Ora Virginia Moser Scott. She was preceded in death by her husband Alton Ward Cockrell; son Tony Cockrell; siblings, Mae Shinault, Foy Ashley, Myrl Venable, Kate Jackson, Ruth wall, Annie Rue Willet, Auba Gray Foushee, and James Scott. Mrs. Cockrell was a librarian with the school system. She loved working in her yard, flowers, spending time with her family and her Church family.

Mrs. Cockrell is survived by her son David Cockrell and his wife Brenda of Sanford; daughter in law Lori Cockrell, granddaughters: Christy Cockrell, and Amanda Jett (Sam); great-granddaughter,  Charlotte Jett of Tennessee and a sister Johann Coley of Sanford.
