Elias Montiel

Elias Montiel, 31, of Sanford passed away on Monday December 5, 2022. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday December 13, 2022, at St. Stephens Catholic Church at 11am. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.

Elias was born in California to Alberto Montiel and Francisca Garcia. He always had a smile on his face and everyone who knew him loved him. He enjoyed life and lived it to its fullest. He also loved cars. He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Montiel.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Erika Benitez; daughters Chelsy Montiel and Kaydie Montiel; son Elijah Alexander Montiel; brothers Juan Montiel (Elva Benitez) and Johnny Montiel; and sisters Sherry Montiel and Princesa Montiel.

The family will receive friends on Monday December 12, 2022 from 5-7pm at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home.
