Emma Grace Taylor Fuquay

Emma Grace Taylor Fuquay, 96 of Sanford passed away Friday July 15, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday at Carbonton United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.

Mrs. Fuquay was born in Yadkin Co, daughter of the late Emerson Taylor and Creola Shuggart Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bernard Fuquay Sr; son, Thomas Bernard Fuquay Jr; great granddaughter, Rowan Joy Brooks and a great grandson, Peyton Thomas Smith; sisters, Maxine Kendrick, Ruby Mae Taylor, and Mary Jane Blakley; son in law, David Register.

Mrs. Fuquay is survived by daughter, Vickie Fuquay Register of Sanford; son Jeffrey Scott Fuquay (Glenda) of Sanford; grandchildren, Michael Fuquay of West Palm Beach, FL, Tonia Fuquay Smith (Armando) of San Diego, CA, Christopher Register (fiancé Candace) of Wilmington; Janelle Register Miles of Sanford, Crystal Fuquay of Sanford, Melinda Fuquay Harrell (Aaron) of Sanford, Kayla Fuquay Brooks (Ryan) of Bennettsville, Laney Fuquay Tally (Daniel) of Sanford; great grandchildren Lance Fuquay, Camden Fuquay, Savanna Miles, Hollie Fuquay, Amelia Grace Miles, Presley Jo Smith, Carter Gaines, Willow Brooks, Maxton Tally, Magnolia Tally, Ava Jolene Harrell, Ronan Brooks, and Davie Register (due September 9, 2022).

The family will greet friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
