Frances Medlin Brown

Frances Medlin Brown, 88 of Sanford passed away Thursday December 31, 2020. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Friday January 8th at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown was born in Sanford, daughter of the late Jroud Leon Medlin and Lillian Frances Stone Medlin. She was preceded in death by her husband Grover N. Brown Jr, a daughter, Frances Hope Brown, and her sister, Joan Medlin Jernigan. Frances loved her family, children, grand-children, great-grandchildren, and her dog Chief. She also enjoyed westerns and gardening.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her children, Dennis Brown (Faye), Mike Brown (Debbie), Karen Whitaker (Max), and Sallie Davis (Donald) all of Sanford; grandchildren, Nicole Freyer (William), Tina Stroupe (Todd), Robyn Powers (Jason), Christy Tickle, Mandi Holt, Trey Whitaker (Carla), Jessica Davis, Jason Davis, Laura Wright (Shawn) and Lisa Reynolds (Zack); 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 Friday prior to the Memorial service.
