H. Wayne Poole

Halford “Wayne” Poole, 63 of Sanford passed Wednesday March 2, 2016 at his home. A Memorial service will be held at 6:00pm Monday (3/7/2016) at First Congregational Christian Church, 328 McIver St, Sanford.

Mr. Poole was born in Sanford and preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Poole. Mr. Poole worked with the City of Sanford’s Water Dept. for 30 years, a volunteer fireman with the Northview Fire Dept., worked with the Rescue Squad in the 80’s and was a COLT’s Driver.

Mr. Poole is survived by his wife, Esther Jones Poole; three daughters, Christina Lynn Poole, Melissa Poole Brewer, and Laura Dawn Poole; three granddaughters, Lakiah Overton, Mariah Overton, and Kendall Brewer; a cousin, Vicki M. Scott Cassell.

The family will receive friends starting at 5:00pm Monday before the Memorial service.
