Howard Ezel Thomas

Howard Ezel Thomas, 85 of Sanford passed away Monday January 28, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday at Pocket Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
Mr. Thomas was born in Lee Co a son of the late John Marshall Thomas and Edna Cole Thomas. He was preceded in death by sons Scott Thomas, and Dale Larsen; brothers, Worthy Thomas, Lewis Thomas, Arthur Thomas and Bernice Thomas; sisters, Ruth Blalock, Lora Coggins, and Beryl Thomas Underwood.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Velma Maddox Thomas; daughter, Vickie Doby and husband Rick of Dodson, NC; son David Larsen and wife Yvonne of ND; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family will greet friends following services Saturday in the Church Fellowship Hall.
Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
