James Edward Matthews

James Edward Matthews, 39 of Broadway passed away Thursday June 9, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5-7pm Wednesday June 15, 2022, at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home

James was born in Forsyth Co and loved music, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Matthews is survived by his mother, Sandra Kay Edwards of Broadway; brothers, Anthony “Tony” Bond of Broadway and twin brother, Jonathan Matthews (Marianne) of Sanford; many cousins; four nieces and a nephew; his aunt’s, Judy Bracken (Robert) of Sanford and Dawn Morris (Monroe) of Broadway.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ralph and Pastye Edwards.
