Jerry Wayne Fallin was a special man who was very passionate about his family. He was married to his high school sweetheart for 56 years. He loved designing and building things he needed or dreamt of out of scrap iron, horseshoes, etc. He was a very talented welding fabricator. He loved old cars and trucks and restoring them back to show quality. He loved attending car shows and cruise-ins in his custom-built trike, proudly displaying his Native American Heritage.
He was a proud U.S. Veteran, serving 3 years in the Army and 27 years in civil service. He graduated from Benhaven School in 1967. Some of his favorite projects included restoring the USS Battleship replica currently on display in Wilmington, restoring a 1930 Ford A Model, 1955 Ford truck, building a horseless carriage, and customizing his custom trike. He also worked on multiple projects for people he met along the way. He never met a stranger. If you stopped by his shop, you got a full tour of his current projects and usually invited back when you had more time!
He loved his family and spending time with his kids, grandkids, and several great grandkids, making the most of every memory, making sure each one knew he loved them! He was also a fur baby daddy to many beloved dogs, cats, ponies, and goat.
He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd Henry Fallin and Minnie Elizabeth Fallin; brother John Henry Fallin; nephew Howard Marks Jr. and multiple beloved pets.
He is survived by his precious wife Frances Worley Fallin; daughters Cathy Cannon (Danny), Melissa Partin (David), and Wendy Lowe (Tommy); 6 grandchildren Kelli Coffer (Garland), Jerry Alan Lees (Mckayla), Kendell Cook (Mike), Kaitlyn Connelly (Thomas), Hayley Wilkes and Wade Wilkes ; 6 great grandchildren Titus Coffer, Noah Coffer, Karleigh Lees, Declan Lees, Oakley Lees, and Elizabeth Connelly; sister Mary Lee Marks; and many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
