Jimmy Dale Dickens

Jimmy Dale Dickens, 72 of Cameron, NC passed away February 13, 2022, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. A memorial service will be held at Faith Baptist Church on Saturday February 19, 2022 at 2pm.

Mr. Dickens is preceded in death by his parents Hampton Elmo Dickens and Janie Whitaker Dickens. Jimmy loved spending time with his family, especially his wife and grandchildren, He enjoyed his life as a farmer raising his cows and pigs. He also had a love for the beach and fishing.

Jimmy is survived by his wife Jancey Thomas Dickens; daughters Nancy Dickens Budde (Trent) of Cameron, Jenna Zollinger (Alex) of Sanford; son Matthew Dickens (Angie Crunk) of Atlanta, GA.; grandchildren Cameron Lane (Rachel), Brett Mills and Alexus Brewer; sister Patricia Wicker (Ronnie) of Sanford; and brother Danny Dickens (Gail) of Olivia.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
