John William Hill II

John William Hill II, 54, passed away November 11, 2021.

John was born in Chatham County to John William Hill I and the late Charlene Gray. He enjoyed sports; his favorite team was UNC. He worked in ministry for several prisons. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister Dee Byrd.

He is survived by his father John William Hill I (Barbara) of Burlington; sons John “Jay” William Hill III (Kelly) of Sanford, Phoenix Hill of Sanford, and Leif Hill of Sanford; grandchildren Kialeigh, Krista, Jesse, Olivia, Kenzie, and Jaylynn; and sister Tonya Gray.
