Wayne Jackson

Wayne Jackson, 82, of the White Hill Community passed away Sunday July 24, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 11am Wednesday at White Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service in the fellowship hall.

Mr. Jackson was the son of the late Bunn and Mae Belle Jackson. He graduated from Cameron High School in 1958 and married his high school sweetheart, Ann, on June 11, 1960. Together they built a loving family that has continued to grow. He loved bowling, hunting, fishing, his 1987 Chevy truck, and swinging on the front porch. Wayne was a life long proud member of White Hill Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife Ann Allgood Jackson; two daughters Judith Jackson Spivey (Michael), and Waynette Jackson Bibey (Shawn); 4 granddaughters Caitlin Koch Meinhardt (Adam) of Raleigh, Mallory Koch Blue (Deon), Johnna Spivey and Anna Spivey all of Sanford; sister Dot Jackson Collins of Waycross Georgia; many nieces and nephews and close friends, neighbors, and church family; and his beloved cat Whitie.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home.
