Junius Salman "Jay" Greenwood, Jr

Jay Greenwood, son of Junius S. Greenwood, of Sanford passed away Tuesday October 10, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 4:00pm Friday at Grace Chapel Church Cemetery.

Mr. Greenwood is survived by his mother, Ruby Wilson Greenwood Belsma of Sanford; sister, Phyllis Clark of Mamers; Aunt Lucy Harris; uncle David Greenwood; and his extended family, Ronnie, Mary, Leslie and Don Belsma.

Jay was born in Sanford and preceded in death by his father, Junius Salman Greenwood Sr. He was a member of Grace Chapel Church and attended Grace Christian School and graduated from Lee Sr High School. Jay was an Army Veteran, loved auto racing and sports. During his working career he worked in various Textile Mills keeping their machinery operating.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
