Larry Wade Price

Larry Wade Price, 74, of Sanford peacefully passed away on Monday January 17, 2022. Larry has now gone to Heaven because the man on the Middle Cross “said he could come.” Funeral services will be held at Cool Springs Baptist Church on Wednesday January 19, 2022, at 2:00pm.

Mr. Price was born in Irdell Co. to Mildred Wooten Price and the late Jack Eugene Price. He retired after 37 years with Roadway Trucking. He was a dedicated member of Cool Springs Baptist church where he served on the Hostess Committee for many years. He also was a member of the Civitan Club and enjoyed cooking for the Bread of Life Ministries.

He is survived by his wife Geri M. Price; daughters Laura Taylor (Rob) of Greenville and Tracy North of Sanford; grandchildren Cory Taylor, Summer Taylor, Tyler North, and Trey North; mother Mildred Price of Statesville; nephews and nieces John Nicholson, Dan Price, Ben Price, David Pugh, Sandra Pugh Harp, and Deborah Pugh Osborne; sister Linda Southern of Statesville; brother Jerry Price (Phyllis) of Statesville; special sister-in-law Jackie Pugh and brother in law William Pugh, “Special Care Giver.”

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the church prior to the funeral service.
