Lillie Mae Layton

Lillie Mae Laws Layton, 90 of Sanford died Thursday January 16, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday at Swann Station Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Cameron Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Layton was born in Orange Co, a daughter of the late Clinnie Laws and Hattie Wayne Crabtree Laws. Mrs. Layton was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gordon Layton Sr; siblings, Pauline Stevens, Hattie Lou O’Quinn, Wayne Laws, C. Malcolm Laws, and Colby Laws.

Mrs. Layton is survived by her children, Jack Gordon Layton Jr (Sharon) of Fitzgerald, GA, Karen Layton Pollard of Columbia, NC, Mary Lou Layton of Sanford, Martin Lee Layton of Charleston, SC and Harold Layton (Paula) of Sanford; six grandchildren, Rebecca Layton, Jeff Timothy, Grant Layton, Morgan Layton, William Pollard, and Julia Eubanks; seven great grandchildren, Molly Jane, Walker, Grady, Gunnar, Tate, AnnaGrace, and Jimmy.

The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00am Saturday in the Fellowship Hall at Swann Station Baptist Church.
