Louanne Lee Schweitzer

Schweitzer, Louanne Lee-of Clio, age 92, died May 20, 2024, in Sanford. NC. Funeral services will be at 1PM on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Bethany United Methodist Church - 353 E Vienna St, Clio, MI. Pastor Kayla Roosa to officiate, burial to follow to Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, May 26th, and May 27th, 2024, from 2PM until 5PM at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Contributions in her memory may be made to Bethany Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.

Louanne was born April 28,1932 in Clio, MI to the late George and Martha (Fields) Carter. Louanne married James Max Schweitzer on June 26,1954 in Clio. Louanne retired as a First-Grade teacher from Clio Area Schools. She was a member of Bethany Methodist Church, member of Tabitha Circle, member of the Lions Club Auxiliary, member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are: Children: Brenda Bost, Kenda (Rob) Winkler, Linda (George) Hart, all of NC; Grandchildren: Tara Hart (fiancé Peyton Miller), Derek (Lindsay) Cascarelle, Staci (Pete) Sansone, Kevin (Levi)Winkler, Kris Winkler; great grandsons: Steven Sansone, Anthony Sansone, Andrew Sansone, Sister: Clarice (Jack) Engelhart, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband James, sister Sandra Montney, brother-in-law Lawrence Montney, and son-in-law Thomas Bost.
