Lucille Everett Stout, 91 of Cameron passed away Thursday April 24, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, (4\28\2025) at Life Springs Church. Burial will follow at Meroney Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends starting at 2:00 Monday prior to the funeral.
Born in Lemon Springs, she was a daughter of the late Lee Everett and Ora Hall Everett. She was preceded in death by husbands, Dewey Campbell and Earl Stout Jr. and her daughter Rebecca “Betty” Knight; siblings, Annie McDowell, Winnie Woody, Elsie Hilliard, Calvin Everett, Joseph Everett, and Jimmy Everett.
Lucille was a member of Life Springs Church when it was a mission before becoming established as a Church. She was known as “The Cake Lady”. She loved to bake and bless others with her signature Cold Oven Pound Cake. She was very much a giver. It brought her so much joy when she was giving to others. She gave her cakes to the Fire Dept’s, Water Dept, Doctor offices, feed stores, paint stores and individuals. Lucille had a big heart and loved everyone, especially her children, grandchildren, and especially her brother Foster.
Mrs. Everett is survived by her daughter, Teresa Brantley; siblings, Foster Everett and Allean Jones; grandchildren, Ricky Lawson, Karen Ward, Darryl Knight, and Cole Brantley; great grandchildren, Corey Lawson, Jordan Allred, Dawson Knight, Laiken Ward, Hudson Gray, and Ruby Knight; great-great grandchildren, Tate Lawson, Tucker Lawson, McKayla Allred, Carter Allred, Courtney Manning and Jami-Lynn Britt.
