Melisa Mae Douglas Snook

Melisa Mae Douglas Snook, 56, of Sanford passed away Thursday June 2, 2022. A memorial service will be held at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home Tuesday June 7, 2022, at 6pm.

Ms. Snook was born in Lee Co. to Portia Wilson Rowe and the late John Laurin Douglas Sr. She was a kind person who had a big heart. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved cooking. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother Samuel Lee Douglas; aunt Vickie Preston; and partner Ernous “Mac” McNeill.

She is survived by her daughters Kristina Jackson (Chris) and Krystal Anderson (Steven Morgan); mother Portia Wilson Rowe (Steve); godmother Margaret Altman; grandchildren Caleb Jackson, Cameron Jackson, Brynn Jackson, Addison Anderson, Aleigh Anderson, Karson Morgan, and Madilyn Morgan; sister Linda Ammons (Garry); brother John Laurin Douglas Jr.; special sister Wendy Perez; nieces Abby Douglas, Megan Douglas, Harley Duncan, and Callie Riley; nephews Lee Michael Battles, Caleb Battles, and Nathan Breech; aunt Charlotte Wilson; uncle J.B Wilson (Noelia); many great aunts and uncles; and many cousins.

A visitation will be held before the service from 4-6pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
