Merritt Lane Foushee

Merritt Lane Foushee- November 30,1989 to July 28,2024 (age 34) passed away too soon. 

Merritt was a life-long resident of Lee County. He graduated from Lee Senior High School and got his BS from Mount Olive University. Merritt was a Business Development Officer for First Bank in Sanford. He was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, cousin, and friend to many that knew him. He was an avid golfer and loved all things NC State University.

He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ed and Frances Foushee and his maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Frances Roberts. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Cobb Foushee and their two children, Harper age 4 and Knox age 2. Additionally, he is survived by his parents, David and Lisa Foushee, his sister, Mallory Foushee Paderick and her husband Dr. Tripp Paderick and a nephew Sawyer Paderick and niece Addie James Paderick all of Sanford.

A celebration of Life will be held at St. Luke United Methodist Church on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 1 PM.

Visitation will be held in the Davenport Christian Life Center immediately after the service.
