Olive McLaughlin

Olive Heyman McLaughlin, 96 of Southern Pines, formerly of Sanford passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020. 
 
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
 
Mrs. McLaughlin was born in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Clarence H Heyman MD, and Olive Mansfield Chapman Heyman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gurney Edward McLaughlin; brothers, William Henry Heyman, and John Heyman. Mrs. McLaughlin loved reading, knitting sweater for guidepost, playing bridge, traveling, the beach, swimming and the flowers.  
 
Mrs. McLaughlin is survived by her daughter, Susan Leslie Toukonen of FL; her son, William Henry McLaughlin of OH; grandchildren, Megan DiDonato (Joseph), Christopher Toukonen (Kelly), Leslie Ann McLaughlin, Catherine McLaughlin, and James McLaughlin; great grandchildren, Anthony DiDonato, Aubrey Ruo-Cai DiDonato, Zander Reed Toukonen, and Zoey Brielle Toukonen; a sister, Joan Heyman.
