Paul Clay Utley

Paul Clay Utley, 63, of Sanford passed away Thursday August 29, 2024. A funeral will be held on Monday September 2, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Sanford in the Sanctuary at 2pm. The family will receive friends starting at 12:30pm before the service in the Fellowship Hall. Burial to follow at Shallow Well Church Cemetery.

Paul was born in Lee Co. to the late Joseph Roy Utley and Nellie Batchelor Utley. Paul was in the real estate business for most of his career. He was a kind person who loved his grandchildren, dogs and spending time at the beach.

He is survived by his son Paul Clay Utley and wife Lindsay; daughter Catherine West and husband Elijah; grandchildren Jana King Utley, Linden Roy Utley, Percy Glenn West, and Winslow Cole West; brother Joseph Roy Utley Jr. and wife Molly; sister Donna Utley; and nieces April Utley, and Sarah Utley.

Family will receive friends and any food or floral items at the home of Paul at 350 Labrador Lane, Sanford, NC 27330.
