Rafael Samaniego Salazar

Rafael Samaniego Salazar, 43 of Sanford passed away October 15, 2021. Family will gather at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home from 12-8pm on October 21, 2021. Burial will be held at the Salazar Family Cemetery.

Rafael loved building and planning, working with the heavy machinery at his job and eating at Brass Kettle. He was a person who was always ready for an adventure. Most of all he loved his daughters who called him “Fa Fa.”

Mr. Salazar is survived by his parents Manuel Samaniego Perez and Marcela Salazar Valdez; a his girlfriend, Laura Ragan; two daughters, Sarai and Shannon Ragan; siblings, Gustavo Samaniego Salazar, Efrain Samaniego Salazar, Manuel Samaniego Salazar Jr,(Tiffany), Jesus Samaniego Salazar, Marcela Samaniego Salazar, Guadalupe Samaniego Salazar, Graciela Samaniego Salazar, Veronica Samaniego Salazar, Mario Samaniego Salazar, and Martin Samaniego Salazar; sister in law Violet Correa; nieces and nephews Bianca Yazmin Samaniego, Savannah Hernandez, Mayra Samaniego Angel Maldonado, Yeray Samaniego, George Samaniego, Vanessa Samaniego, Laura Samaniego, David Samaniego, Alejandro Samaniego, Carmen Contreras, Arianna Samaniego and Sandra Samaniego.

He is preceded in death by brother Carlos Salazar; and niece Crystal Samaniego Angel.
