Ruby Greenwood Belsma

Ruby Wilson Greenwood Belsma, 88 of Sanford passed away Thursday October 18, 2018. 

Ruby Wilson Greenwood Belsma died unexpected at home on October 18, 2018 in Sanford, NC at the age of 88. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday at Grace Chapel Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Ruby is survived by her daughter Phyllis McAuley Clark of Lillington, NC. Grandchildren Jeffrey Clark (Sheila) of Lillington, NC and Cindy Clark Witte (Johnathan) of Jacksonville, NC. Great grandchildren Leea Witte, Johnathan Witte II and Rebekah Clark. Special step-son, Don Belsma.

She is preceded in death by her parents Walter J. Wilson and Hattie Boggs Wilson, son Junius “Jay” Greenwood Jr.; Husbands, Junius S. “Junior” Greenwood Sr, and Col. Alfred Belsma. brothers James Wilson, Frankie Wilson, Emery Wilson and Carlie Wilson; sisters Liller Wilson Shue and Dora Wilson Shue.

Ruby was very active and dedicated member of Grace Chapel Church, especially the Annie Bell Register Missionary Society and her Sunday School Class.

Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one’s choice.

The family will receive friends following the service.
