Bennie Worth Howard Sr.

Bennie Worth Howard Sr., 75, of Carthage passed away Monday January 10, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. Funeral arrangements to be announced at a later date.

Mr. Howard was born in Duplin Co. to the late Lester Worth Howard and Eva Louise Howard. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister Hazel Horton.

Mr. Howard is survived by his wife Hilda Howard; children Karen Marsh (Ray) of Carthage NC, Bennie Howard Jr. (Dawn) of Hawkins TX, Bonnie Clark (James) of Livingston CA, and Clarence Howard of Carthage NC; grandchildren Amanda Mashburn, Amber Boyd (Jason), Brandon Mashburn, Jason Marsh, Kaitlyn Marsh, McKayla Howard, Tyler Pruitt (Rosie), Katie Vowell, Emily Vowell, and Ezekiel Vowell; great grandchildren Felicity Logan, Hannah Boyd, and Luke Boyd; and niece Deborah Dai’Re (Eddie).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
