Wilma Clayton Money

Wilma Clayton Money, 92 of Pinehurst, formerly of Sanford passed away Tuesday December 5, 2023. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am Monday, December 11, 2023, at Culdee Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.  

Wilma was born October 6, 1931 in Jackson Springs NC, the 10th child of Robert W and Millie TIngen Clayton. She graduated from Pinehurst High School Class of 1950.

On April 30,1955 she married Aceil Money of New York State. They raised their two sons in Norwich NY, and in 1983 they took an early retirement and moved to Sanford NC. She was always strong in her faith and attended church throughout her life. For several years she has resided at Quail Haven Retirement Village, Pinehurst NC

She is survived by two sons Michael of Aberdeen NC, and Mark of Norwich NY, and a brother Harold Clayton of Pinehurst NC, and many nieces and nephews; She was predeceased by 9 siblings and her husband.

The family will greet friends beginning at 10am Monday at the Church.
